About this dive site
Very close to the Port of Tarragona we find the remains of public works dating from the 1960s. These are three large concrete beams, two of them 17 meters long by 2 meters wide and 1 meter high, and another 19 meters long. No one knows how Las Vigas of Tarragona came to be there, as there is no record in the maritime authorities of any vessel that would have carried or unloaded this cargo. After a considerable number of years have passed since the beams arrived at this point, a particularly interesting submarine biotope has developed in Tarragona.
