About this dive site
The wreck El Vapor del Miracle, also known as the Vaporet in Tarragona, consists of the remains of a coal-fired steam ship used during the last expansion of the emblematic Port of Tarragona, and which, once the work was completed, was sunk 300 meters from the tip of Miracle beach. It is a wooden vessel, approximately 15 meters long, resting on a sandy bottom between 14 and 16 meters deep. Its main structure has practically disappeared, with no interior to explore. Nevertheless, in the legendary wreck El Vapor del Miracle in Tarragona, the engine room, chimneys, boilers, transfer, bollards, and some frames can be clearly distinguished.
