About this dive site
The wreck El Vapor del Miracle, also known as the Vaporet in Tarragona, consists of the remains of a coal-fired steam ship used during the final expansion of the emblematic Port of Tarragona, and which, once the work was completed, was sunk 300 metres from the tip of Miracle beach. It is a wooden vessel, approximately 15 metres long, resting on the sand bottom between 14 and 16 metres deep. Its main structure has practically disappeared, with no interior to access. Nevertheless, in the mythical wreck El Vapor del Miracle in Tarragona, the engine room, chimneys, boilers, transfer, bitts, and some frames are clearly distinguishable.
