Some of the main agents of diving in Tarragona are undoubtedly its parks. In the waters of Tarragona, in front of the port, is the Tarragona Underwater Park, managed by SES Tarragona. It is a very special park, as it is an authentic natural reserve with over 250 catalogued species and various wrecks. Among these latter, the Dragonera wreck of Tarragona stands out. It is a 65-meter cargo ship that has rested since 1994 on a sand and mud bottom, at a depth of between 14 and 24 meters. The wreck is broken in several spots, through which experienced divers prepared for it can access its interior.
